When I first began working out, which consisted of walking about an hour a day, the first thing I noticed was my insomnia seemed to dissipate. Then I started losing my appetite and craving for sweets and even diet sugar. I then noticed how wonderful my skin looked. I had a dewy complexion, with perfect coloring on my face giving the appearance of health . My stress levels went down. Living in Manhattan, where everyone seems to be in such a hurry and one's patience level is zero to none, I started to feel more relaxed and that feeling of wanting to rip someone's head off if they didn't have their credit card out and ready to go immediately after getting their items checked out at the register line at the grocery store didn't seem to bother me much anymore. I felt calm and serene. When I walk at a fast pace, I do sweat a lot especially on my face but my skin could not have been clearer. I actually felt as if all the poisons from my body were being released through my skin. I felt great mentally and physically. of course I also drank a huge amount of water to replace all the liquids lost but this was great for my digestive system. Stomach aches seemed to go away and constipation was no longer an issue. Walking is the best form of exercise. I also burned off a lot of calories, toned up and lost a bit of weight.
