thanks for the vid. I have several gastro problems and insulin resistant. So I want to juice cleanse but slow at first. I just brought a black and decker low priced juicer from walmart. Do you hink this is good for a beginner? I subed your channel.

@shebirths
Dan is correct, ive used every Kind Juicer out there except the 2 thousand dollar Norwalk and New Hurom, The Champion Juicer does an aboslutely HORRIBLE job on Greens and those twin gear ones are a Nitemare to clean and take lots of time and water to do this.
Centrifugal are a great Option

Hey Dan! I love your encouragement
How much water do you drink in addition to your juices?
April 17th, 2010 - 14:10

Make sure to check out my older vids for other recipes! For example, try searching liferegenerator salad in YouTube’s search box… can you dig it?

I prefer honey as my primary sweetener! Yes, I know it isn’t vegan but I dislike the term vegan in general, or any term for that matter, even raw food doesn’t exactly vibe w/ me–I think of myself more as a fruit, vegetable & natural food lover! Re: the vegan thing, even though I love & respect animals I didn’t eliminate meat, dairy, etc. from my diet for animal rights reasons, I did it for health reasons & there are so many other raw foodists like me who also eat raw vegan except for honey.

Awesome! Thanks so much for taking the time to answer back! You really are Dan the MAN!
If you haven’t already, I’d love to see a video on set-up, and cleaning your juicer. I have a Green Star, and am transitioning to high raw-goal for March 1. I have been doing a lot of juicing, and your job DOES look much easier! But I’d love to see the tear-down/set up part of it. MWAH!

Hi, please visit the juicer link that is given in each of my newer vids in the info section–all links and recipes and supporting info is always given in the info sections–thanks!
Here’s the link for you too but you’ll have to replace each ‘dot’ with a ‘.’ as YouTube doesn’t allow links in the video comments:

Nope, you’re not mistaken, you’re absolutely correct. However, masticating juicers also 1) take 2x as long to juice 2) take 2x as long to clean & 3) cost 2x as much–meaning that the average person doesn’t have the time, money and/or patience to actually use it! There are some people who this juicer works for but not for many esp. for beginners to the path of health. Visit the juicer section in my store where I go over the benefits & drawbacks of all juicers.

I thought masticating juicers preserve the nutrients better than these centrifugal ones? Am I mistaken?
April 17th, 2010 - 18:35
Breville.. they are the best ones! Thats what Dan uses, i bought mine because of him and i love it. He recommends a great product.
April 17th, 2010 - 19:07

Dan, I truly love your videos and your loving energy. Even if you don’t agree with people or the way they feed themselves, you are never judging…never negative and preachy…you just tell them, calmly and patiently, the truth as you know it. I love that regardless of how I am doing in that moment with eating as much raw green living foods as possible, I feel welcome and encouraged by your channel and videos! You ROCK!
(and that looks yummy)
